To install/initialize your 32-bit client software (prep package), you must have all applications/programs closed. This includes email and all mainframe applications.

Download:

• It will ask if you want to RUN THIS PROGRAM FROM ITS CURRENT LOCATION or SAVE IT TO DISK
• You want to SAVE IT TO DISK (meaning the C drive on your PC)
• Make sure the black dot is in the circle next to SAVE IT TO DISK (if it is not, just left click the circle)
• Then click OK
• Next the SAVE AS dialog box is going to appear
• The upper text box (just to the right of the words SAVE IN) probably has DESKTOP (this needs to be changed)
  Right below this area is a large white box that lists everything on your DESKTOP
• Locate MY COMPUTER in this box and double left-click on C: (this will then list everything in your C drive.
• Once the SAVE IN text box reflects C:\ look down in the lower portion of the dialog box for the FILE NAME text box.
• The file name 32BitDEFormInit7.exe should be listed in this text box.
  Click OK
  
• NOTE: Depending on the speed of your phone lines, this download process may take an hour or so.
  Once this file has downloaded, you will need to close out the download process by: (1) In Internet Explorer 4.0 the dialog box will say DOWNLOAD COMPLETE and you will click on OK; (2) In Internet Explorer 5.0 the dialog box will reflect file information and three buttons, click on CLOSE.
  
  

Installation:

• To install/initialize your 32-bit client software (prep package), you must have all applications/programs closed. This includes email and all mainframe applications.
• Right click the START button.
• Left-click on EXPLORE (this window displays all the files/applications/programs within your computer system).
• When the EXPLORE window opens, on the left-hand side locate and double-click your C: drive.
• On the right-hand side of your EXPLORE window, scroll down below the "yellow folders" until you see the list of files, scroll down until you find the 32BitDEFormInit7.exe file. The icon will be a red box that resembles a gift box. (NOTE: You may not see the extension EXE; it all depends on the setup of your PC)
  Double left-click the 32BitDEFormInit7.exe file name and begin the installation/initialization process.
  In this process it will automatically proceed through several levels, perhaps stopping occasionally and as asking you how you wish to proceed. The option buttons vary, but would you choose FINISH, CONTINUE, or NEXT. Read the screens carefully and NEVER overwrite a file.
• Once the process is complete, a dialog may appear; asking you if you wish to restart your PC. YES, you do want to restart the PC.
• If you are not given the option to restart the PC and you return to the EXPLORE window, go ahead and properly shutdown the PC.
• Once you have restarted your PC and you are back to the Desktop (and in some instances, your EXPLORE window will be open) you are ready to work with the electronic forms.
  NOTE: The initialization process may install a shortcut icon on your Desktop that is called E-forms Access Manager. Ignore this icon and do not use it to attempt to access your forms. You may delete the icon from your Desktop if you wish.
